Since we’ve opened, we’ve been dedicated to changing the lives of people one person at a time, through martial arts, education and coaching. We strive to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all students and family members. We take pride in creating an environment for individuals to achieve, develop and succeed in their personal goals.

Sensei

Founder of STRIKING 101

Sensei has over 36 years of mixed martial arts experience. He started martial arts at the age of 4 and since then has trained under New York’s best instructors & academies. Holding a black belt in Kyokushin Karate & Taekwondo.

He has created and trained multiple champions in both the amateur and professional level that compete in UFC, Bellator, Glory Kickboxing, Lion Fight Muay Thai, One Championship and other great organizations.

Sensei is part of WMO USA Muay Thai team as a Head Coach. His students are also part of Team USA for both WMO & WAKO.

Sensei is also the co-founder of Super Seminars World Series along side his best friend and kickboxing living legend Andy Souwer where they host the most historic seminars around the world.

Joshu – Assistant Instructor

Joshu Diego is a black belt under Sensei. He started his mixed martial arts journey at STRIKING 101.

Diego has become a multiple Boxing, Kickboxing & Muay Thai Champion under Sensei tutelage.

He is a part of TEAM USA for the WMO Muay Thai Team & WAKO Kickboxing Team.

He is currently being scouted by the top fighting organizations to be added to their roster of super stars and champions.

Joshu – Assistant Instructor

Joshu Ernie is a black belt under Sensei.

He is one of the first students when STRIKING 101 opened it’s doors back in 2012.

Since then Joshu Ernie has become a Kickboxing champion, who has fought and won in the most historic venue : Madison Square Garden.

He is also part of Team USA for the WMO.
